April 21 – May 10, 2026
On April 21, 2026 (Tuesday) at 6:00 PM, in Halls 2 and 3 of the City Art Gallery “Boris Georgiev”, located at 1 Lyuben Karavelov Street, an exhibition of graphic art by professors and students from:
-
National Academy of Art, Bulgaria
-
Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Katowice, Poland
-
Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Milan, Italy
will be officially opened.
The exhibition is organized as part of the second stage of the international project “Graphics Without Borders” – an artistic initiative aimed at fostering intercultural dialogue through art and expanding opportunities for creative collaboration between professors and students. The first stage of the project took place in Katowice in October 2025, presenting works by professors and students from the National Academy of Art.
The exhibition showcases various aspects of contemporary graphic art, including current trends, techniques, artistic concepts, and experimental approaches developed by professors and students across the three academies. A printed catalogue will also be published as an archive of the project and a foundation for future collaborative initiatives.
Following its presentation in Varna, the exhibition will also be shown in Milan, Italy.
