Their diverse expertise and global perspectives ensured a rigorous and insightful selection process, while their shared commitment to artistic excellence guaranteed that the awarded works reflected the highest standards of contemporary printmaking.

ANCA BOERIU / ROMANIA
ANCA BOERIU is a well-known graphic artist and academic at the National University of Art in Bucharest. She approaches different graphic techniques such as: engraving, drawing, collage, ceramics, object-installations, etc. Her artistic biography highlights a complex experience that includes important participations in personal and group exhibitions in Romania and abroad. Awarded with national and international prizes she is member of various juries and artistic committees. She graduated the Institute of Fine Arts, Graphics department, with a PHD in Visual Arts, Anca Boeriu is a member of the Professional Union of Artiss in Romania since 1999, starting with 2016 she is the President of the Bucharest Graphics Branch. She is a founding member of the International Association of Friends of the National Art Museum of Romania, a member of the International MitOst Germany Association, a delegate for Romania of the Etching Triennale in Chamallier, France, and since 2014 she is the initiator and coordinator of the BIPB-Bucharest International Print Biennale. Among her national and international awards should be memntioned: The Award for Excellence at the Osten Biennial Skopje, North Macedonia (2024) and National Award for Graphics UAPR (2023). Her professional activity includes an extensive curatorial experience, such as: member of the jury at the Larnaca Biennial of Contemporary Art, Cyprus (2025); she organized residencies for Romanian artists at the Fantom Gallery, Berlin (2020- 2024); Annual of Art and Science, Neo Art Connect, Changing Environments (2024); THE DIVAN, Dimitrie Cantemir, Universal spirit, a program of ICR Romania at Fantom Gallery Berlin (2023); she curated the Winter Salon, organized by DLUM, North Macedonia (2021).

PROF. VLADIMIR IVANOV / BULGARIA
Vladimir Ivanov was born in Varna in 1946. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts, majoring Prints, in 1975. He was the art editor of G.Bakalov Publishers in Varna (1980 – 1990). Between 1990 and 1994 in the Netherlands – Dordrecht and Amsterdam – where he had 10 solo exhibitions. Habilitation: 1998 – Assistant Professor, 2004 – Professor. Tutor at Varna Free University. The artist works in the sphere of conceptual arts using a variety of techniques –from the drawing, through the print and installations to interference into the urban space. He has over 30 solo exhibitions and over a 100 participations in international print biennials and group exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad. Part of the collections in which Vladimir Ivanov’s works can be found are those in Sofia National Art Gallery, Sofia City Art Gallery, Boris Georgiev City Art Gallery – Varna, Kupferstich-Kabinett – Dresden; Meiji Collection – Tokyo, Japan; US Congress Library, Washington, private collections in Bulgaria and abroad.

RICHARD NOYCE / GREAT BRITAIN
Richard Noyce (b. 1944) British writer, artist, scholar and art critic, well-known especially for his international role in the world of printmaking. Writes and speaks regularly on the visual arts and, in addition to many reviews and articles published in British and international magazines; has written several books on contemporary painting, graphic arts, and printmaking, including Contemporary Painting in Poland (1995), Contemporary Graphic Art in Poland (1997), Printmaking at the Edge (2006), Critical Mass: Printmaking Beyond the Edge (2006, reprinted 2008, 2010, 2013), Printmaking Off the Beaten Track (2013); Contributor to a number of other books, and catalogue essays for many artists’ and groups’ exhibitions.Awarded the 1996 AAASS/Orbis Polish Book Prize; Experienced international competition juror, serving as President of the Awards Jury at the Kraków International Print Triennial, 2003, 2006, 2009, awarded both the 40 th and 50 th anniversary medals of that Triennale. Juror for many other international print and drawing biennials and triennials. British representative at the 2016 Silk Road International Mural Painting Seminar in Chongqing, Sichuan, China; Commissioner for the British participation in the Ulsan International Woodcut Biennial, South Korea, 2019. Honours BA in Art and Design, Leeds College of Art (1968); Honorary PhD in Art Criticism from the Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, where he is also an Honorary Professor; the citation acknowledges his work in printmaking over a period of more than thirty years. Visiting professor and lecturer in a number of universities in North and South America, Europe and Asia; Papers contributed to many international conferences; Regular contributor to Printmaking Today (UK) and Actuel (France/Belgium), Contributing Editor (Europe) for Art Bahrain 2014-19.
